I'm not sure how friendship works nowadays. Like, you guys just happen
to often meet in events but barely even talk to each other, and then you say, "let's
selfie" and pose very intimately, and boom, suddenly you're
friends. And even when you do talk, the topic just revolves around the weather
and your dress.
I personally think relationships go beyond that. Friendship is a form of relationship, so I think it should be taken seriously. Friendship is actually caring about the other person's life; what are you up to these days, how are you feeling lately, how's family, what are your future plans, how do you feel about things, genuinely. You know, like an actual talk that makes you feel good afterwards.
I do think people should take more effort in building quality talks and making real relationships instead of simply posting things on social media just to look like you're that person who has friends everywhere.
