A happiness standard maybe different for each of us. It
may come from a morning greeting from your loved one, a smile from a bus driver
in your campus, a midnight free-voice-call from your bestie, sightseeing in a Sunday
morning market and really blessed because you can find cheapest-price-stuffs in
town, and this is what i love the most : chit-chatting with your old friends.
Last night-after i did my complete 9 hours working on a
final project with my classmates-i hanged out to the small warkop called ‘Sedap
Malam’ near my house. There i met my friend from Surabaya and roaming with no
manner, we were talking as it’s our homeland with the medokness overload :p.
There we’re talking about some disgusting things like why
i ate papaya all of sudden (i answered it directly that i had digestive problem in the past 3 days), bullying each other include it was the handsfree my
friend wore since our first meet which make him ‘budeg’ hence we should repeat our conversation again and again, future mate a.k.a
jodoh which lead my friend wanted to match me with duda-kaya-tak punya anak, feminism as a trending topic in high-schoolers in my town, the conference my friend joined in the past 3 days, until how
guo-i am-sampe ketinggalan-gosip-terbaru!
Even that only happen for like 2 hours or less, i’m
happy.
It’s like you can be that simple in order to define your happiness
standard. You only need same idiots people gather together to simply
shit-chatting some random things and that’s it, you’re happy.
Next time you feel upset yet tired, you can redefine your
other happiness standard things. List it, do it, make yourself happy is not a
mistake (y).
