Last night at this time, I was attending my senior’s
promotion and retirement party in a quite nice place. It was actually near a
beach but we couldn’t find any beach vibes instead of the food we ordered. But that’s
not the point here. While my colleges were busy dancing and singing, I snapped quietly
to get some fresh air, so i got a little walk down there. After small walk, I went
to the restroom and found something quite interesting. At first, I saw a woman standing in front of restroom door. I guessed
she’s nearly 30’s. She looked so damn stunning with her short–tight-red-dress.
Her make-up was really on-fleek and she also wore a-flowery-red-shoes as her dress. Her
dress was quite opened for a windy night, it was a halter top which showed a
lot of her skin.
While I was in restroom, I heard a baby crying. I got goose
bumps at that moment and tried to make sure that it was only my hallucination. But
thanks god, finally I saw a real baby’s crying! That red-dressed woman was carrying
a baby in her chest.
Her baby was crying yet she tried to calm his down. She tried
to comfort her baby just like what other moms did. She made funny faces and
also funny voices just for her baby. Somehow it worked by seeing how her baby
started to calm down. Then, she started to breastfeeding her baby for sure.
I didn’t know where the baby came from. As far as I could
remember, that red-dressed woman came alone in the restroom. I guessed that it
was a woman next to her, maybe her nanny who take care of her baby. I felt so
warm watching that happening in front of me indeed.
Later on, I saw that woman singing in front of people. She’s
actually an in-house singer in that restaurant. The nanny was probably waiting
for her in the audiences’ bench along with that red-dressed woman baby.
It melted my heart somehow. That red-dressed woman has a double job. She brings joy both to the people and her baby all at once. It might not be easy for her as she has to multitask in doing this and that in a same time, but she strives for that.
It was quite night when I left that place and I still heard
the woman singing in a nice harmony~
